A Simple Sunday (Feb 28 2016)

DSC05949Our power is really starting to die out.

The Intruders’ battery is dead, too, so he is going to start up the generator.

“It’s going to be noisy, eh,” he laughs.

“That’s alright…if we can connect to it, too,” we laugh.

It IS loud, but at least we are getting some power out of it.

I’m happy to be powered again and after our morning kayaking (more fish! small mantas!) we spend most of the day just reading. The Intruders’ dog, Rosie a longhaired black dog entertains us with her water frenzy. She can be in the water for hours, chasing fish and running about. She loves it so much. It makes me smile.

Dinner tonight is scallop ceviche and fresh vongole pasta. The scallops are sweet and tasty this way and the clams are just perfect! But our food supplies are disappearing and we are losing power. Is it time to move?

I've been traveling since I was born -- the first big trip was before I was two, across the Pacific, from my native Japan to Los Angeles on a cargo ship. There have been many journeys since then, through many continents and cultures.
